देहरादुन -क्षत्रीय चेतना मंच ने मनाई महाराणा प्रताप कीकी 484 जयंती।

शिरोमणी महाराणा प्रताप की 484 वी जयंती पर क्षत्रिय चेतना मंच द्वारा दून के ननूरखेडा स्थित महाराणा प्रताप भवन मे आयोजित विशाल समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि सिरोही दरबार, माउंट आबू राजस्थान के महाराणा पद्यश्री रघुवीर सिंह चौहान तथा शिक्षा मंत्री डॉं.धनसिंह रावत,संस्था के संरक्षक मोहन सिंह चौहान द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलित कर तथा महाराणा के चित्र पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित करते हुए कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया गया। समारोह की अध्यक्षता संस्था के संरक्षक ठाकुर राजेंद्र सिंह खत्री ने की।इस अवसर पर शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि सभी देशवासियों को महाराणा प्रताप के देश प्रेम और बहादुरी के जज्बे से प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए। उन्होंने युवाओं को समाज सेवा से जुड़कर देश और समाज के उत्थान हेतु कार्य करने का भी आह्वान किया।इतिहासकार पद्यश्री रघुवीर सिंह चौहान ने क्षत्रिय वंश के पूरे इतिहास पर प्रकाश डाला। समारोह में राजकीय विद्यालयों के उन बच्चों को भी पुरस्कार संकल्प की सचिव अनीता नेगी, मोहन सिंह खत्री, शशीकांत शाही आदि द्वारा प्रदान किए गए जिन्होंने चित्रकला पेंटिंग डांस आदि में भाग लिया था। समारोह में सतपुली गढ़वाल से आए समाजसेवी वयोवृद्ध ठाकुर सुंदर सिंह चौहान को उत्तराखंड क्षत्रीय सम्मान तथा संयुक्त नागरिक संगठन के सुशील त्यागी तथा 95 वर्षीय मंच के सलाहकार संसार शाही की सामाजिक सेवाओं हेतु शाल ओढ़ाकर तथा अभिनंदन पत्र भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया। मंच के केंद्रीय महामंत्री रवि सिंह नेगी ने कहा कि वर्तमान आरक्षण नीति को खत्म करके आर्थिक आधार पर आरक्षण दिया जाना चाहिए आरक्षण का केंद्र शैक्षिक उन्नति हो न कि सरकारी सेवाओ में इसे लागू रखा जाए। समारोह में यशवंत सिंह पुंडीर, रंजना रावत, सुषमा शाही, कमला चौहान, देवेंद्र पुंडीर, सुरेंद्र सिंह तोमर, महेश रौथान, संसार शाही,बुद्ध सिंह रावत, अशोकवर्धन सिंह, राजीव पवार, सुरेंद्र चौहान, बलवीर सिंह रावत, अंकित रोथाण,धीरज सिंह नेगी, हिम्मत सिंह बिष्ट, राजेश राणा, अनूप चौहान आदि शामिल थे।

Padmabhushan Raghubir Singh Chauhan of Sihohi Durbar Mount Abu and Special Guest Cabinet
Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and by garlanding
the photo of Shrimani Maharanapratap’s photo. Programme was presided over by Manch’s Patron
Rajander Khatri. Nearby residents an and officials of KCM also paid homage to Maharana Pratap.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Dhan Singh Rawat told that we should learn patriotism and valour
from Veer Shiromani and follow him for the security and upliftment of the country by associating
young generation. A painting competition for the children of Govt primary schools was also
conducted with the help of Sankalp Society Gen Sec Anita Negi. Children also presented a brief
cultural program. All the winners were awarded by suitable prizes. On this occasion KCM
honoured eminent Social worker Thakur Sunder Singh Chauhan form Satpuli with “Uttarakhand
Kshatriya Ratna” award for his distinguished social work. On this occasion Social Worker Sushil
Tyagi of Saunkt Nagrik Sanghatan, Ravindra Rautala and Miss Radha for their extraordinary
performance in sports and vetran Sansar Singh Shahi Social Worker were also honoured by
Manch.Programme was was conducted by Shashi Kant Shahi Advocate and Mahesh Rauthan.
Eminent Social worker and Central Gen Sec of Manch Ravi Singh Negi Advocate,
advocated to abolish the reservation policy in its present state. He told that the reservation should be
limited to the education and should not be for competitions and Services and be given on the basis
of economic condition. He appealed to whole society to adopt and follow the ideals of Veer
Shiromani Maharanapratap.
